I have Windows XP on my PC. When I try to open My Documents or My Computer from the desktop icon, all I get is a white screen. If I let it sit for a while, I get the message: Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close". I cannot open from the Start Menu either. The only way I can get to my documents/photos is through outlook express by attaching a file to a new message…or through Word. I cannot start Windows XP in safe mode, the directional arrows will not work once I am at the screen to make that choice. I have no idea what happened…we have made no changes to our software or hardware. Thanks.
