My computer is not doing well as I have gone a little out of my realm of knowledge and have made some stupid mistakes: Playing around with process explorer, Autoruns, various registry cleaners, microsoft fixit, just to name a few. If possible, can someone advise me as what I can do to resolve some of these issues?
For some reason my Vista is not longer activated and when I try to activate it using the error notification given while trying to do Windows update, it says “cant find path” I also tried doing a startup repair following the directions for using the installation disk.
Also, I cannot do a system restore as it gives error 0xᗪ00202, “the shadow copy service used by system restore is not working, and in event viewer I get this:
