My Inspirational poems
I love to write inspirational poetry, they mean a lot of things to me, and they may mean something else to you. The common thing is that, an inspirational poem inspires you in one way or the other. If you write poems yourself you are inspired to write something of your own when you read someone else’s poem. Another advantage of inspirational poetry is that it is meant to encourage and uplift. Below are some of my inspirational poems. The themes have to do with love, feelings and thoughts of the heart. Read and be inspired…When you are ready, you can send a free poetic card to you loved one here.

Oh mine! I feel my heart roll!
What do you have for me?
Your eyes bore into my soul
Your presence makes me loose control
Yet that look in your eyes confuses me
Is it love? Is it lust?
Desire, Yes! That I trust
Lust, No! That ‘s unjust
Oh mine! I wish I could read you like a book
The way I feel you in every nook
It kills me to see you so…
Can’t touch, but look
When you smiled, my mind shook
What do you have for me?
Is it pain? Is it gain?
Passion, Yes! That’s gain
Lust, No! That’s vain
O mine! All I need is love

Make me live again, make me loose the pain
Remove this strain that make my tears rain
Move it for me!
These hindrances that block my way
Turn it to dust, Shake it away
This mountain of delay needs not stay!
Give it to me!
That joy that makes me glow for all to see and know
Like a river let it flow, that love that makes my mind blow
Lift it for me!
Roll the thunders loud, shock the crowd
Blacken the sky and change the cloud
Lift up my head make me standout and make me proud
Run it with me!
This race of life; make me fly, make me soar like eagles so high
Dear lord, the torrent is gone and my tears now dry.

Why ask me why?
He makes me feel high...
Lights me up! Lifts me up!
How intense, how passionate;
How happy, how fortunate
My savior, your lover too...
Touch my heart!
Kindle my blind heart
Lighten my darkness
My precious! My gracious!
Catch my soul!
Why let me go?
Never…never make me dry...
Feel me! Feed me;
Hold me! Mould me;
Lead me! Shield me;
My creator, your lover too...

So pretty yet so small
Her escape had been so narrow
Fluttering and huddling against a wall
Her gaps so painful to swallow
Looking at her my mind enthral
Yet in her distress she wallow
Her lovely eyes rolling like a ball
Terror! I could feel it to my marrow
Looking up I saw a tree so tall
Who had caused her so much sorrow?
This pain I wish I could forestall
Yet she cringed at my shadow
Such act I wanted to stall
Man is such a cruel fellow
So I lifted up my heart to call
O God, you are such a good fellow
You care so much for all
Please help this poor little sparrow!

I awoke with a start; my mind froze; a chill seized my heart
I threw my covers back; all was blank and black
I heard the dog bark, my leg had hit his head
What could the problem be, could I tell?
I felt I was floating; neither here nor there
To the window I struggled to view
I heard the cat mew; my distress grew; I had disturbed her rest
What could the problem be? Could I tell?
Out there was covered with frost, flakes of ice
A cold gripped my heart; Of course it’s winter I mused
Oh the heater! Put it on I did; my body shook, my mind froze
What could the problem be? Could I tell?
Then I felt it…a hand on my shoulder… a kiss on my brow
My eyes fluttered open, there he stood, the missing piece of my life.
Dressed for a journey; isn't’t that stony? I missed him already
That was the problem, could I not tell?
There’s a song in my heart
Yet I shed drops of groaning tears
It’s a song of joy not of worldly fears
Still the words elude me when life’s shadows being to prowl
There’s a song in my heart
Yet I feel yearnings as sharp as spears
It’s a song of happiness not of wasted years
Still with graying hair hope feels so shallow and seem to scowl
There’s a song in my heart
Yet I see much vanity blurring my sanity
It’s a song of Honor not of Profanity
Still with shadows falling darkness seems to lead to danger
There’s a song in my heart
Yet I feel so deeply and highly inspired
It’s a song from my soul now flowing with pleasure so desired
Still great help comes from above declares my saviour my holy ranger.
Poetic Quotes: love, romantic and inspirational
The days of your loneliness are over!
I am saying yes!
My memories of last night are dim…
But you can renew them.
Hurry home!
Out of sight…you are still in my mind…
Don’t give me the ice…
Melt for me
Do you mind sharing memories with me?
Let’s make it magical!
Let’s write a story together
Let’s sing a song together
Let’s dance together
Let’s make it a date…
My little angel…
My little love
Can’t wait to feel you in my arms.
My gift from God…
