I have a HP pavilion elite desk top that has been nothing put problem from day one. The pc is just over two years old, I bought it with vista 64 bit and HP sent me the windows 7 upgrade when it was released. It is always crashing, locking up or going to blue screen. I have spent hundreds of hours with tech support, I have restored it to factory 9 times (lost all my data every time, I am a research scientist so that may give you an idea of how much data that is). I paid for the in house tech support but they keep telling me the current isse is not covered. I have even had one of the guys from tech support tell me I had to open my tower to check some of the hardware. A few days ago I went to turn on my pc and I cannot get windowsŇ to boot up at all, not even in safe mode. The start up repare states it cannot fix the problem. I ham discused with HP at this point, my service plan has expire and I have a piece of useless junk that I paid several thousand dollars for. I cannot even get my information off of my external hard drive. I can get it to boot up in vista but I have no access to any of my files because i cannot cross the partition… Help
